The results of Top Cartoon Board 2011 were announced in Shenzhen. Adventures of MOMOKING by MOMOKING hit the board. It was nominated as Cartoon Works of the Year and the MOMO Family was awarded as the Cartoon Characters of the Year.
       Top Cartoon Board (TCB) was started by China Cartoon Industry Forum and China A&C Source and with the cooperation of CCTV Animation, ACG Research Center of China Press & Publishing Institute, CCTV Xinke Cartoon Channel, China Youth Net, Cartoon Weekly and some other authorities and mainstream media. They make the wind vane of China cartoon industry. TCB had been successfully held twice, which has won much attention from the industry. It has become the most authoritative and most influential event of China cartoon industry and it had become the first platform for Chinese cartoon to cast brand and value, to spread and to create. There were main board and side board this year. The main board focused on the main vein of cartoon industry, including eight items like Event of the Year, Person of the Year, Elite of the Year, Cartoon Works of the Year, etc. While side board focused on the peripheral part. The results were recommended by the people in the industry, nominated by the organizing committee and finally voted by net citizens and chosen by judges.
       MOMOKING was the first Fujian cartoon company that exported to foreign countries. Its animation series – Adventures of MOMOKING has won the affection of many audiences since its premiere on CCTV Children’s Channel in May this year. After being broadcast for several months on different domestic channels, MOMOKING has become very famous. Meanwhile, with MOMOQUEEN, MOMOBABY and some other images, MOMOKING has joint hands with Cola Cao at CIFIT, which has made MOMOKING the center of attention of cartoon industry and the media.
