A special Children’s Day for the special you. In the morning of June 1, 2012, MOMOKING went to Xiamen Dongdu Primary School with the Youth League of Finance Department of Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College. We celebrated the Children’s Day with the students in this special way.
       “Light of Hope – Dongdu Primary School Children’s Day Commendation Meeting & Public Service Joint Performance” was held in the campus of Dongdu Primary School. It started with the speech of the headmaster, which cheered up all the teachers and students. Then the leadership awarded the outstanding students who were proud of themselves and grateful to the teachers. Later, Momoking and his friends went to the stage and danced to the song “You Are My Friends”. The wonderful song and dance won a big applause. The cartoon stars brought the show to the full swing. The shows presented by the students from Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College were welcome too. They had some games with the pupils who had a happy and unforgettable festival.
       It’s said that more than 66% of the pupils of Dongdu Primary School were the children of migrant workers. Some of them were poverty-stricken and lack of love and care in life. The pupils were given special gifts for the Children’s Day and the love from the society. MOMOKING pays close attention to the growth of children. We hope to express our support to the public service and help the children in need as much as we can. Meanwhile, we hope that more and more people could join us to help the children in need.
